It’s Monday

Yesterday was a pretty relaxing day, as I’m pretty sure everyday will be.  We’re pretty comfortable here in our condo, lots of room for the two of us.  Except for a bit of sound of the breeze and the birds, it is very quiet.  One of us forgot to pack her shorts so after after a nice walk along the shore with a stop for a coffee and a smoothie.

We drove down to Kona to do a (very) little bit of shopping.  The drive is about 30 minutes when there are no traffic stops.  We went to the market and bought a couple of bags of vegetables, then had lunch at a place overlooking Ali’i Drive, the Main Street in the tourist part of town.

Sunday was a good day to drive to Kona as there seemed to be not too much traffic.

Since we’d had a pretty big lunch we snacked on some poke, watched a movie and were in bed pretty early.

Monday morning is hazy here, the forecast is for a few days of overcast weather with a chance of showers.  It hardly ever rains here so it will be interesting to see how it turns out.

Yesterday morning I discovered that the coffee maker wasn’t working and sent the owner an email letting her know.  She let me know this morning that a new one will be dropped off between 9:30 and 10:00.  I guess she has to have local people to look after things like this for her.

We are off for a walk.  More later . . .
